Bisk

Just had the rest of my images back from a photographer I worked with a few weeks before Christmas. I think some people many have already seen a few of these as they were on Facebook.

I really enjoyed the shoot it was a mini adventure down to London, I went and came back in an evening and had a lovely time.

I'm really pleased with the outcome, I'd just had my hair dyed at this point so it looks really bright and for a change I think I look more traditionally pretty in these images which makes me happy.

Jean Paul Gaultier

While I was doing some research and browsing the internet I came across Jean Paul Gaultiers Spring/Summer 12 couture collection. I love all the multi-coloured hair, Amy Winehouse bee hives & beauty spots and the fetish inspired clothing.

Japanese Fashion

Once again I'm sorry for going so quiet with my blog. I've started a job this week so I've been majorly busy. We also still don't have internet at the flat so it's been difficult staying in touch with the online world at all! I started my new job as graphic designer doing repeat patterns for woven garments on Monday and so far I'm enjoying it. I love been busy all day and they've really been keeping me on my toes. My only problem is being so shy, I get so nervous around so many new people and the company I now work for is huge, there must be a 100 people on my floor alone. I got to have a flick through some Japanese fashion magazines and thought there were some really cool images so I thought I would share a few. They're not the best quality as I took them with my camera. I really like the alternative edge to Japanese fashion and it's really evident in these pictures.

There were so many pairs on creepers! I keep changing my mind as to whether I want some or not. They seem like a good alternative to docs but I don't like the fact they are shoes not boots.

Detachable collars

I'll try and keep my blog updated as much as I can. I'm looking forward to getting all my work finished for today and going out for dinner tonight before heading home to get packed for Vau Vau tomorrow.

If you're Leeds based or even a bit further away it's going to be worth travelling to.

What I Wore- On My Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and this is what I wore to my Birthday meal yesterday evening. I'm wearing the velvet maxi skirt my Mum bought me for Christmas and I've been waiting for an opportunity to wear it since then. I really love it, it feels so warm and comfortable to wear but also looks really glamorous. It took me a while to convert to the maxi skirt but now I'm well and truly there. It is also my younger twin sisters birthday today and one of them is having a party tomorrow. It's going to be in the garden with gazebos and outdoor heaters. I'm not really sure it's going to be that warm so I'm thinking I might just wear the same outfit again.

I'm really looking forward to going out with some friends for the rest of my birthday celebrations at the weekend.

Pretty & Inspired #4

These are my new inspirations. Lace, Victorian, occult, insects and flower garlands. These pictures inspire me to take more photographs on my film camera, I don't think I'm practicing enough with it at the moment. I particularly love the top left hand image of the girl stood in the window. It reminds me how happy I am living in my new flat with Jay and how much I am appreciating having my own space.

Unicorn

I've been comp shopping for work this week picking colours for the next season. While I was out I spotted this pair of unicorn shorts which I think I need in my life. I've had a bit of a unicorn obbsession recently. It's a shame they come with a £35 price tag but I might just have to bite the bullet and get them anyway.

Sophie Adamson Art and Accessories

These photos are from a shoot I did a few weeks before Christmas with Helen Peta Storey and Ezra for Sophie Adamson Art & Accessories by Toria Brightside. We ventured into an abandoned bus depot under a fence in rather uncomfortable shoes to get into the massive desolate space.

We wore wet look leggings with a variety of latex and leatherette bras and harnesses from my collection with Sophie's neck pieces and antlers.

I've known Sophie for a while and have seen her ideas grow from small art projects into stunning headpieces and a large array of accessories. She has an Etsy page here which is beautifully laid out and stocks her gorgeous head pieces, necklaces and more at unbelievably reasonable prices. Check it out if you want something luscious and completely unique.

There are some 'behind the scenes' photos in my December photo diary here.

The Beautiful Ezra in her green wig

I think this one is my favourite shot from the set

This picture only shows a fraction of the whole space we were in, we were actually in a smaller room where this was taken. I was balancing carefully on a pile of rubble at this point, that I thought might collapse under me at any moment.

Sophie will also be having a stall at the amazing Vau Vau Fashion Show event.
